Gallery Van Kan

Erik is in Antwerpen geboren in 1970 en is gespecialiseerd in urban en architectuur fotografie en heeft reeds exposities gegeven in Berlijn, Rotterdam en Antwerpen. In 2011 heeft hij publicaties in Grandé reis- en ook DM magazine in de vorm van fotojournalistiek. In 2013 reide hij voor de Morgen naar de Verenigde Staten om “The Mower Gang” in Detroit vast te leggen in de fotografie en leverde dit een cover story op in DM magazine onder de naam “Maaien voor een betere wereld”.  Later wint het artikel “Door Brussel met Brel” de WTB prijs, waar Erik de fotografie voor verzorgde. In 2014 zette hij zijn liefde voort in Urban Photography, waar hij zich één vindt in het stedelijk landschap. Na deze prestaties is Erik in 2017 ook nog begonnen met academische studies in de fotografie om zich nog verder te verrijken in deze materie.

 

Erik was born in Antwerp in 1970 and specialized in urban and architectural photography and has already given exhibitions in Berlin, Rotterdam and Antwerp. In 2013 he traveled to the United States for De Morgen to document “The Mower Gang” in Detroit in photography and this resulted in a cover story in DM magazine called “Mowing for a Better World”. Later the article “Through Brussels with Brel” wins the WTB prize, for which Erik took care of the photography. In 2014 he continued his love in Urban Photography, where he finds himself one in the urban landscape. After these achievements, Erik also started academic studies in photography in 2017 to further enrich himself in this matter.
